THERE WILL BE NO NUCLEAR POWER STATIONS IN AUSTRALIA FOR THE FORSEEABLE FUTURE

John Howard's dream of a nuclear powered nation has come to nought. His party has not only lost the election on the 24th November but Mr Howard himself has lost the seat he had held for 34 years to the Labour candidate—Maxine McKew.
John Howard is only the second standing Australian Prime Minister to lose his seat. The other was the Rt Hon. Stanley Melbourne Bruce on 22 October 1929.

This is an account of what happened in the Ukraine and could have happened here if twenty five nuclear power stations had been built in Australia.

Elena as a child
